I am a technology leader and passionate advocate for innovation and digital transformation. I have spent the past 20+ years applying technology to improve customer experience and information security for countless organisations across a wide range of industries including utilities, telecoms, retail, travel, logistics, broadcast television, print media, financial services and insurance. I act as a bridge between the technical and non-technical and specialise in the application of technology to customer, colleague and business requirements. I enjoy nothing more than being able to meet people, understand their challenges and help them to reach their goals and I am equally at home at the command-line writing scripts as I am presenting to clients, prospects or at conferences. My focus on innovation is borne out by having delivered multiple award-winning solutions and having contributed to a number of patents granted and pending. I have a deep understanding of application development and have designed and delivered solutions supporting millions of customer interactions using technology from thick client compiled applications to native mobile apps, modern web apps to voice services, speech recognition, chatbots and Generative AI using infrastructure from physical all the way up to Cloud Native. Outside of work I enjoy time with my family and when time permits my interests are broad from photography to amateur radio, astronomy and running.
