Founded in 1992, The Psychedelic Shack is a regional novelty retail chain. In 1994, it expanded into a leader in the body piercing and tattoo industry in the Gulf Coast area.

I identified the need of yoga students to have an instructor endorsed network of ethical, high quality yoga gear, clothing and media. I sourced domestic products when possible and manufactured custom products using reclaimed materials and employing fair trade practices.

In 1994, I saw the potential for the body piercing industry and began researching how to become a body jewelry supplier. After failing to attract outside venture capital, I started American Piercing Supply on a shoestring budget. I built it into a national piercing supply house handling jewelry manufacturing, supply importing and national sales management before selling it in 1999.
