Leading several internal and external teams on B2B project solutions, I direct development and implementation of new business processes associated with B2B EDI implementations and ensure achievement of project timelines, deliverables and overall execution. I create relationships with key leaders in the client organization and interface with various levels across the organization to analyze the client’s unique needs and scope the project requirements. I am responsible for managing resource allocation, mitigating project risk, projecting financials and managing change plans.

Provided clients with solutions to increase the operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and overall value of their trading partner relationships through corporate leadership initiatives, ranging from implementing B2B automation in an outsourced manufacturing or logistics environment, to streamlining critical portions of the quote-to-cash cycle, to overseeing the deployment of a new ERP solution.

With accountability for IT, new system implementations, creative, marketing and customer support, I led the project team and all external vendors to ensure installations meet each customer’s recruiting needs. I began my career as Implementation Project Manager and was the company’s first employee. As a member of the Management Team, I created implementation strategies for short- and long-term organizational growth and played a key role in our continued growth with annual sales growing 10-fold. Working with Division I College Athletic Departments, we worked with 75 clients annually, managing 90-day implementation time frames. I led discovery meetings with clients, provided project planning and management, developed project schedules, defined roles, worked with IT for data conversion and facilitated client training. I drove creation of a software training program that became the industry standard for recruiting college athletes. I directed, tested and approved third party contractors’ build out of new websites and customization of software packages. I also led multiple internal system, process and policy improvements to help achieve highest levels of customer service in a very competitive environment.

After starting with Unisource as a Corporate Logistics Intern, I served as Logistics Analyst/Account Manager and was promoted to Inbound Logistics Analyst. During my tenure, I oversaw shipment tracking to 6 U.S. ports and 70 warehouse distribution centers across the U.S. I ensured scheduling and tracking accuracy for an average of 20 inbound ocean containers and dispatched over 25 company owned trucks daily. I managed truck load carrier operations, including bid packages, service issues and billing. I developed a new initiative to change fleet operations, resulting in an increase of loaded miles from 71.7% to 91.2%, and oversaw our LTL optimization program, which achieved $250K in annual savings. I managed the payment process for material handling equipment at 90 warehouses and worked with vendor facilities to identify process improvement opportunities. I coordinated our rotating 6-month internship program and recruited and hired new associates.
