My personal goal is to carry on the legacy of the company that I took over from my father and to prepare the third generation for the takeover to carry it further. I am passionate about manufacturing and I aspire to make my company one of the global players that has international recognition. I also have a secondary personal goal of promoting machines that are produced in Turkey, and I try to use my network to help international professionals find the right contacts in Turkey.I started working at Hürmak Machinery in 2004 as a part-time international marketing employee while I was studying at Istanbul University. After graduation, I took on bigger responsibilities in the company and became the International Sales Manager, where I managed all international relations. In 2014, I extended beyond international relations and became the Deputy Chairman of the company, a role I have been fulfilling ever since.My English language skills are exceptional, thanks to my English Language and Literature major at Istanbul University. I have a broad understanding of the world and people around me, and I always try to understand first before speaking. My approach is steady, and I prefer to analyze situations first before taking necessary actions. I believe that any skill can be acquired through proper work and study, and I am confident that I can improve myself in any field that I see necessary. I have been in 37 different countries, giving me an exceptional advantage when communicating with new professionals. I have an extensive understanding of technology and always try to implement it to my work with an open mind.My company, Hürmak, is very active in terms of NPOs, and I take an active role in representation. I have been a board member of PAGDER (Plastics Industrialists Association) since 2011. I served as a board member of MIB (Machine Manufacturers Association) from 2012 to 2022. Currently, I am one of the board members of Turkish Machine Exporters Union (Turkish Machinery) since 2022. Taking part in these managing boards has given me the opportunity to make organic contact with many experienced professionals, and I believe it has helped me learn a lot from their experiences and views of business.
