The Independent Producers Organisation (IPO) is a representative, national organisation of independent South African film, television and video producers constituted to represent, protect and promote the interests and needs of producers. The IPO currently represents the interests of eighty percent of working producers in South Africa.The executive committee have in the past two years been successful in mobilising the Communication portfolio committee to understand the industry needs. The IPO acts as a link between stakeholders and its members to ensure that members do not struggle with addressing their issues individually. Therefore the IPO is a representative body for its members.

The Business Funding Show ’16 aims to bring together an entire spectrum of financial providers/services with SMEs on the 2nd and 3rd of February 2016 at The Old Billingsgate Building, one of London's most prestigious business sites. Notably, the event has already been featured on Sky TV, Dailymail, The Telegraph, The Guardian and many other media platforms.

I facilitated a media focused 3-day workshop with a group (12) of 15-17 year old young people that teaches them the basics of filmmaking; camera operation, interviewing and editing skills. The young people are then challenged to use these skills with community partners that work with vulnerable senior citizens, young people and the disadvantaged members within their communities.
