Head of South East Asia for Disney Interactive/Playdom. In this role, I was focused on scaling Playdom’s development center in India and Bangladesh. I was responsible for building the India office and scaling it to about 120 people. Subsequently, the most successful game franchise from Playdom was launched from the studio and team I had helped build. This game franchise quickly grew to over $100M in revenue. We were able to successfully shift gears from startup phase to growth-phase by:1) Putting processes in place for operations (HR, Finance, Legal & facilities team etc) to support our scale2) Up-levelling our quality of talent 3) grew from being a development center to supporting multiple functions such as BI, Tech Ops, Product ManagementPlaydom was eventually acquired by The Walt Disney Company, where I spent a few years continuing to help consolidate and scale the operations. Evolving from a high growth startup to one of the largest companies in the world, was an exhilarating and memorable experience.
