During an interim period where the organization had no Executive Director, I served as the Director of Operations for the organization's national headquarters. I was brought in to restructure the staff and address challenges the organization was facing at the time. My responsibilities included oversight of finance, budgeting, fundraising, communications, IT, family support, the national conference, and the staff and operations of the headquarters (located in Sarasota); as well as coordinating and guiding a strong volunteer base across all states.
