Crustacean Compassion is an award-winning animal welfare organisation dedicated to the humane treatment of animals like crabs, lobsters and prawns (decapod crustaceans). We engage with legislators and policy makers to strengthen and enforce animal welfare law and policy; we work to persuade and enable companies to sell higher welfare products across their shellfish product ranges; and we seek to educate both the public and policy makers on the science of decapod crustacean sentience and on their humane treatment and care.

Food Management Today magazine is the modern, independent voice of the UK food industry, offering news, opinion, expertise and information to Britain’s top managers and executives.Meat Management magazine is the only regular meat trade publication directly serving the UK meat industry.

White Spot Communications provided freelance magazine, editorial and blog writing services to SMEs looking to share their stories with the world. Services included a 'blogging virtual assistant' option for small businesses who wanted to keep blogs up-to-date without the hassle. Along with writing blogs, I provided infographics, ebooks and newsletters to liven up social media content.

The TechTalk Show is also at the cutting edge of technology and we're always looking to speak to game-changing UK companies who are innovating in the industry. Both online radio shows are syndicated as far afield as Malta and the USA.Breakthrough Magazine focuses on innovation specifically in engineering and manufacturing, while Breakthrough Women promotes female role models in the workplace, helping to inspire and connect business women. After 10 years as a print and online journalist, I directed my knowledge and experience of the industry into public relations by starting White Spot PR.
