As a Legal Clinic Student in the Law & Business Clinic at Ryerson University, we work in pairs to provide legal services throughout the course of 8 months to a student entrepreneur under the supervision of lawyers from Miller Thomson LLP. My partner and I worked on four deliverables for our client including: - Drafting a memorandum comparing two forms of business organisation and terms of agreement to consider; - Drafting a non-disclosure agreement with an assignment of IP for an independent contractor; - Drafting terms of use for the client's website; - Drafting a privacy policy for the client's website.The Law & Business Clinic provides free legal services in a variety of business law matters to entrepreneurs and small businesses that cannot afford to retain a lawyer.
