Bushra Mustafa is an experienced and skilled Program Coordinator with extensive experience in project management and program coordination. As the Program Coordinator at Code for Pakistan, Bushra oversees various programs and projects and their associated activities. Her role involves supervising the delivery of program deliverables, such as curriculums, activities, and milestones while also managing program partner expectations to ensure program success.During her tenure with Code for Pakistan, Bushra has successfully executed the TECH-NIH Fellowship program in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health and its division, Transformation and Excellence Centre for Health. She has also worked with the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to coordinate and direct the development of a surveillance-based application that reports and calculates healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs) in the Federal region of Pakistan.In addition, Bushra spearheads the KP Women Civic Digital Internship Program, Code for Pakistan’s flagship women’s focused program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Under her leadership, 50 interns are on-boarded for a civic internship program focused on skills development and training in the IT and Technology sector.Bushra's professional journey began as a Digital Marketing Fellow for the KP Civic Innovation Fellowship Program in 2017. Before joining Code for Pakistan, she held various roles, including Content Curator/Social Media Executive at Maven Logix (Pvt.) Ltd., Editor for Daastan, a self-publishing platform, and Marketing Fellow for PITB's tech accelerator, Plan9. She also rendered her services at Turing Technologies, where she worked as a Program Associate.In addition to her extensive experience, Bushra is a seasoned writer who regularly contributes to The News International's Us Magazine. She holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar, and holds a Gold Medal in Project Management (Masters degree) from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology.
