Provided leadership and technical expertise to a steel manufacturing business requesting an MES solution for the 2x expansion at their current facility. Assisted with the acquisition and integration of multiple businesses the parent company purchased.North Star BlueScope Steel - Manufacturing Expansion and Project Management:o Sought to source and implement a new MES solution for a $750M plant expansion. After reviewing multiple MES proposals, we chose one based on business requirements. The project timeline, deliverables, and resources were all leveraged to complete the program on time and within the $3M budget. The new solution schedules production orders, incorporating scheduling logic developed by the lead scheduler for the existing plant and the 2x expansion.o Guided the North Star project manager’s progress and updated senior management and steering committee teams to keep them abreast of project status, challenges, and successes.o Identified and seized an opportunity to assist with infrastructure architecture for a new administration building. Created and executed plans for client PC replacements, Conference room Audio/Video, and collaboration equipment design. Additionally, I recommended upgrading the facility's core and edge network solution to a cost-effective and manageable current industry-standard solution.BlueScope Recycling - Mergers and Acquisitions:o Developed due diligence packages with recommendations for Information Technology, Business Systems, and Facility Management solutions.o After BlueScope Recycling was formed, I led the IT Integration for the business’s latest acquisition, including infrastructure and business application analysis and integration into existing business systems for the BRM Mansfield acquisition.
