Cummins Power South is a distributor of Cummins engines, power generation units, and components. CPS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cummins, Inc. – Supervise a staff of two IT professionals. Manage IT operations and support for 17 branches and the Atlanta HQ location in Georgia, Florida, and part of Tennessee.– Supporting integration efforts as Cummins acquires worldwide distributors, including North America. Much of our work is transitioning to work with CBS (Cummins Business Systems) for IT operations and support.– Supporting “Deep Dive” – this includes transitioning activities to work with CBS.– Projects include IT support for opening a new branch location in Tallahassee – servers, network, computers, printers, and phones – and moving a branch in Miami to a new location (also in Miami).– Providing bar code scanners to parts warehouses at each of our 17 branch locations.– Upgrading wireless access points as well as servers in branch locations and the Atlanta HQ. Clayton specializes in complete product support for Sikorsky H-3 Sea King helicopters and all variants.– Provided application, network, and desktop support as well as phone systems for two locations. Applications include AVM2000, Sage 50 accounting and payroll, Symantec Backup Exec 12.5, Acronis True Image Server v8. Network consists of three Windows 2003 servers, three Netgear switches, 50+ desktop / laptops, printers, copiers, iPads, Comcast routers, SATABOY RAID data storage system, and CISCO 5500 Series Wireless Controller with 21 CISCO AIRONET access points. Perform data backups and provide data security.– Implemented AVM2000 application solution for aviation management – inventory, work orders, purchasing, maintenance, labor, inspections, and documentation.– Installed and implemented 14 TB SATABOY RAID data storage solution.– Upgraded from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012.

Global Aviation Holdings (Global), through its wholly-owned subsidiaries World Airways (World) and North American Airlines (North American), was the largest commercial provider of charter air transportation for the U.S. military, and a major provider of worldwide commercial global passenger and cargo air transportation services.– Administered enterprise applications (crew management and airline operations, maintenance, logistics, and engineering, document management and training), and also internally developed applications, for two airlines.– Migrated to new crew management and airline operations application (six-month project).– Migrated Pervasive DB to SQL Server (three-month project).– Installed nine bi-annual new releases after conducting testing for both airlines (each three-month projects).– Achieved Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance – Auditors found no significant deficiencies.– Delivered exceptional service; resolved all issues in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.

– Served 2.5 years total at Fort Benning and Fort McPherson.– Also served three years in leadership positions in a mechanized infantry battalion in Mannheim, Germany. In charge of soldiers and 115 vehicles (armored personnel carriers, jeeps, and trucks). – As Platoon Leader supervised approximately 40 soldiers; as Executive Officer, approximately 120 soldiers; and as Battalion Motor Officer, approximately 20 soldiers (the maintenance staff for five companies). The BMO is a staff position reporting directly to the Battalion Commander.
