Support City of San Diego Climate Action Plan Implementation and green-house gas reduction efforts: • In partnership with the City Arborist assisted in planting 400 trees in the City Heights neighborhood of Cherokee Point and worked with the Community of Allied Gardens to plant an additional 150 street trees. Thanks to our efforts SDG&E has planted over 550 trees in 2022 alone. Leaving us just over 1/5 of the way to our 2,500 tree commitment outlined in the Franchise's Energy Cooperation over the next ten years. • We successful reported on rates set by the California Public Utilities Comission to San Diego City Council and met numerous times with Environment Committee to report on the progress of Undergrounding, Climate Equity, Customer Equity, and other major projects. • August 2022 marked the successful launch of the Solar Equity Program administered by Center for Sustainable Energy. SDG&E committed 10 million over the next ten years to help our most vulnerable communities gain access to renewable energy. I helped ensure smooth collaboration across San Diego City Council and local labor organizations to ensure a successful launch. • Handled outreach and communications for multiple Fire Hardening projects through Mission trails and Scripps Ranch communities, ensuring SDG&E is doing our part to prevent climate changed enabled increase in wildfire threats. • 2022 saw an unprecedented heat wave over the Labor Day weekend sending us into Flex Alert and therefore Emergency Operation mode. That put a strain on the California grid between the hours of 4- 9 pm. Since then SDG&E has broken ground on 4 Microgrids, 3 of which are in the City of San Diego. This additional battery storage investment will equip us for our future events and increased use of electricity across California, as we look to electrify our vehicles and grid.

From public forums to wood to steel project coordination with residents. I have seen first hand the thoughtful steps our company is taking to combat climate caused increase in wildfires.• Overseen City of San Diego coordination and operation to best serve our customers. From implementation of the Energy Cooperation Agreement at the City of San Diego to addressing much needed infrastructure concerns of residents, I am dedicated to our customers and our reliability.

• Increased recruitment of women in to the Plumbing and Pipefitting industries, establishing retention measures that doubled the number of women in our trade in the past three years (13 to 26). • Handle all social media increasing our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram following by over 40%. Highlighting our Veterans in Piping Program at Camp Pendleton graduating 16 marines each quarter. • Creating pathways for young people into a middle-class career, attending over 150+ career fairs across San Diego and Imperial Counties. Placing them in our industry through apprenticeship enrollment or with direct entry based on their experience. • Creating and implementing policy to promote construction that includes high workers standards and safety conditions on the job.

• A 12-week intensive program at International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 569 to learn and implement best practices and strategies to establish a union's political influence and communicate effectively.• From web design to campaign organizing, it’s a fast-paced course on Political/Environmental Directing for an active and engaging union. Help pass clean energy legislation alongside Sierra Club, promoting good jobs and clean air in Imperial Valley.

Rohnert Park, Ca

• Led SSU Lobby Corps, which consisted of a team of 8 Sonoma State Students to Lobby State Legislatures on issues that impacted the 447,000 California State University students.• Responsible for serving as a Sonoma State representative at the California State Student Association. • Ran Register to vote campaign campus wide and brought a polling place on campus.•. Represented Sonoma State at the California State Student Association(CSSA), an organization dedicated to bettering the lives of every California State University student on all 23 campuses.

The Students for Economic Justice summer internship is an intensive 6-week program that gives committed student activists organizing experience in a current campaign for economic justice. College students, like myself, will receive organizing skills training and will be engaged in educational discussions on various topics. The goal of this program is to build the next generation of young leaders and community organizers who will effectively push forward social change and economic justice in San Diego. Students receive trainings from various community and labor leaders throughout San Diego and will finish the program with a better understanding of the social and political landscape of the region. I worked with the San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council on the Fightfor15 campaign.

Regularly attending Senate/City council meetings as well as working closely with city representatives in town and gown relations. Being a voice for 9,000+ students of Sonoma state among faculty and administration on campus, Mayor of Rohnert Park, and local City Council members.
