About Jason Butler

I'm a passionate 4th generation Napa Valley Native and Master Cooper. I have 30 years of devotion mastering the ancient art of barrel making and pioneering new methods of aging wine and spirits with wood. I've spent the majority of my career manufacturing wine barrels and have an ongoing creative drive innovating barrel alternative products (aka; wood infusion, oak alternatives, ‘chips and staves’) for wine and spirit programs to create desired flavor, mouthfeel and aromatics outcomes.My experience has allowed me to develop successful cooperage brands including facilities, supply chains, production teams and flavor profiles in the United States, France and China.
