The Office of New Americans (ONA) Community Navigator position will provide regional leadership and oversee administration/implementation of service plans aimed at strengthening the partnerships, cohesiveness, collaborative efforts, services and outreach capacity of NYS Opportunity regional partners With a concentration on meeting the needs of low-income immigrant communities, these centers promote programs that address immigrant issues and needs, encourage New Americans to participate in New York State civic and economic life, navigate the path of citizenship duties for new residents, and recommend steps to protect them as they transition to full participation in New York’s communities.

Helping Lawyers and other legal professionals prepare for trials or court cases. Description include answering phone calls and greeting clients, contributing to fact-checking, compiling case evidence and communicating with court employees to confirm court dates.
