    Research Assistant
    Concordia University Oct 2016 - Oct 2019
    Montreal, Canada
I worked on a communication platform that improves collaboration among a group of mobile robots. Although robots allowed to interact only with their neighbors (the ones are in the vicinity), the main objective was to achieve consensus among all robots. I succeed to develop a practical technique to reach the agreement for networks with time-invariant and time-varying topologies, even in the presence of the input saturation.I also studied car-sharing networks, which are the components of smart cities. Designing and implementing the system is a challenging task, which requires determining the number of total vehicles in a fleet and redistributing empty vehicles through the network, which both have economic consequences and affect the quality of the service. I developed a redistribute technique, which optimizes waiting time for a passenger to take a car while reducing the redistribution cost.
  • Razavi Civil Development Organization
    Consulting Engineer
Razavi Civil Development Organization Oct 2013 - Oct 2015
    Mashhad, Iran
I worked as a consultant in a building automation project, known as Building Management System (BMS), at Imam Reza Arena. I was responsible for verifying the design of controllers and sensor networks to meet the expectations for systems such as HVAC, lighting, security systems, and power systems.
  • Khaje Nasir Toosi (K. N. Toosi) University Of Technology
    Research Assistant
Khaje Nasir Toosi (K. N. Toosi) University Of Technology Oct 2012 - Oct 2015
    Tehran, Iran
I was responsible for optimizing a part of the navigation system in aircraft and marine vessels, which deals with redundant actuators. This part of the navigation, called control allocation, is translating pilot or autopilot commands into degrees for surface actuators, and has a tremendous effect on manoeuvrability and fuel consumption.I proposed a novel optimization algorithm with a considerable low computational cost, high accuracy, and fault tolerance.
  • Arad Automation Area Ltd.
    Lead Design Engineer
Arad Automation Area Ltd. Feb 2012 - Nov 2013
    Tehran, Iran
I was responsible for leading a small team in a startup. The objective was to develop a greenhouse control unit along with a sensor network. The main motive behind the job is to reduce the overall cost of the control and sensor units by digitalizing the whole system using micro-controllers.The sensor network consisted of four types of sensors, including temperature, soil humidity, CO2, and light. The control unit also received the desired environmental and cultivation parameters from an operator. Then, the control unit commands valves and switches.Successes included designing and implementing freeRTOS, including ADC, PWM, USART, and SPI. I also applied a wiener filter, which could eliminate the noise from the sensor network. Designing an HMI and PCB are the other achievements.

Course name: MATLAB applications for engineering Students
  • Arian Toos Electric
    Electrical Engineer
Arian Toos Electric May 2008 - Aug 2009
I designed a cost-efficient variable voltage and variable frequency source. The main motive behind the design was to reduce the cost and increase the accuracy of the production by microcontrollers and MOSFETs.
