Manage inventory levels to optimize sales opportunities and minimize inventory risk. Responsible for fiscal year procurement plan for all hardware product lines. Work closely with product managers and sales to minimize inventory levels. Coordinate product transitions with sales and marketing to ensure adequate product availability and reduce excess inventory. Conduct monthly long range production meeting with worldwide production control division. Prepare all inventory and procurement reports for the meeting. Prepare and publish minutes of the meeting and insure all action items are completed in a timely manner.Prepare and review with management forecast changes for key items on a monthly basis. Present major issues, review and incorporate any changes into procurement reports.Establish overall inventory levels and turn targets by sales region. Develop key measurements as necessary to monitor business performance. Responsible for monitoring distribution center inventory levels.
