I developed a deep appreciation that these mechanisms control an explosion, and things behave differently in actuality than one might expect on the computer screen. Countless issues were worked through and resolved, all documented through volumes of technical reports. I managed all pistol-related product qualifications during this time period, while constantly pushing for enhanced test protocols and performance standards. These efforts are the backbone of the products FN continues to develop today.

Luckily, I was a sponge and had some amazing mentors to teach me about designing components for injection molding, blow molding, and sheet metal stamping.
