I joined Rover Group (1983) as mathematics & computing specialist. I played various technical, and high profile management / leadership roles. I played leading role in initiating and setting up the IT infrastructure for the CAE functions at Austin Rover and other related companies. Provided the mathematical & programming suport to develop large amount of bespoke engineering software for analysis, simulation and design. These packages were developed with the management and leadership of Anthony Spillane - was a world leading edge stuff for design analysis, as there were not many standard applications packages around. These played significant part in development of leading engine technology at Rover. I've worked for Rovers, BMW, FORD, TATA, Jaguar, Land Rover, I n varying high profile roles.I have played a leading role in transition from ford to JLR and Tata in engineering and financial fields. I've met GREAT people during my Work life , I take steps to interact with ALL and join in with all activities. I played my technical part in supporting them and gaining a world class experience.
