About Bas Van Mil
NL - Bas van MilMomenteel ben ik werkzaam als freelance engineer in de techniek. Sinds 2016 heb ik mijn eigen bedrijf, BVM.engineering opgericht. BVM.engineering is gespecialiseerd in het ontwerpen, fabriceren en assembleren van Robot end-effectors / end of arm tools. Naast de robot specialisatie kunnen we ook veel andere high-tech en complexe mechanische en mechatronica opdrachten uitwerken.LoopbaanNa mijn studie HBO-werktuigbouwkunde ben ik vier jaar werkzaam geweest bij Ventil als mechanical project engineer en service engineer. Hier heb ik mijn kennis kunnen vergroten op vrijwel alle aspecten van technisch ontwerpen en projectmanagement. Na deze vier jaar was ik toe aan een nieuwe uitdaging en wilde mezelf verder ontwikkelen op technisch gebied. Ik ben gaan werken bij de TU Delft in het Robot lab en vanuit deze functie ben ik gevraagd om als mecahnical engineer bij Fizyr te komen werken. Na vier jaar werd ik gevraagd door Robohouse om het robot test center op te zetten. Dit heb ik 5,5 jaar gedaan maar vanwege de vele opdrachten bij BVM.engineering heb ik besloten in juni 2023 mij hier volledig op te gaan richten.EN - Bas van MilI work as a freelance technical engineer. My company BVM.engineering founded in 2016, is specialised in designing, manufacturing and assembly of robot end-effectors / end-of-arm tools. We can always find a solution for any assignments in the field of high-tech and complex mechanical and mechatronic engineering. CareerAfter I got my Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, I worked for four years at Ventil as a mechanical project engineer and service engineer. At Ventil I have expanded my knowledge on every aspect of technical design and project management. After these four years I needed a new challenge and wanted to develop myself even further in the field of engineering. I started working in the Robot lab of the Delft University of technology. From this position I was asked to start working as a mechanical engineer at Fizyr. After four years I was asked by Robohouse to set up the robot test centre. I did that for 5,5 years but in June 2023 I decided to full focus on BVM.engineering because of the high order intake.
