At Apple, I take daily initiative and work both independently and with others to identify problems, communicate with customers, and to find and offer up solutions that save time and enrich the experience of the patron. I use acquired technical knowledge to repair and replace phones and other electronic devices as needed in a timely, efficient manner while also maintaining the quality that customers expect from Apple products.

During the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Apple expressed a need to increase socially distanced support for our customers. I volunteered for this temporary position to provide support to customers both over the phone and through chat messaging, providing the same level of quality customer service at home as I would within the store. My career experience with At-Home Advising (AHA) will be complete in March of 2021 at which time, safety regulations providing, I will return to providing full-time support in-store. This experience has taught me how to use a variety of different methods to record information, notate ideas, and communicate effectively across platforms.

As assistant manager, I was in charge of scheduling staff members for their shifts in order to accomodate the many aquatics programs offered by the City of Roseville. I made sure the first aid cabinet was always stocked with the necessary equipment in case of an emergency, I planned and lead various trainings, managed a variety of shifts, and responded to critical situations as they arose in order to solve the problem and provide the patron with the best care possible.

Through the aquatics department of Parks & Recreation, I became a leader to the guards, assisted the pool managers as needed, and sometimes managed on my own when necessary. I lead trainings, taught swim lessons, and worked with employees when they needed extra help with their teaching and CPR skills. My role was to bridge the gap between higher management and the entry-level guards and aquatics specialists.
