• Led a 13 person team of Electrical, ASIC, Mechanical, and Opto-Mechanical Engineers in thedevelopment of the revolutionary multi-sensor L16 camera and Nokia 9 PureView phone.• Directed architecture and implementation of technology ranging from custom ASIC, to camera modules, to Snapdragon 820/845 and peripherals; LPDDR, UFS, MIPI, USB3.1, WiFi, and Bluetooth.• Collaborated with Foxconn and suppliers on-site in China, Taiwan, and Japan through DesignValidation Test (DVT), Production Validation Test (PVT), and Mass Production (MP) ramp.

• Led a 13 person team of Electrical Engineering, Aeromechanical Engineering, and Embedded Software (Firmware & Flight Controls) in development of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles.• Directed architecture and implementations of technology ranging from: Intel Atom Payload Computer, LiDAR, RTK GNSS, Battery Management Systems, long-range datalinks, and Camera Payloads.• Forecasted and managed departmental operational budgets (test equipment, licensing, and small tools) as well as product development budgets (prototyping, tooling, and product cost-of-goods-sold). • Established and maintained strong relationships with manufacturing and supply chain (PCB, ODMs, CMs, distributors, and fabricators) to ensure DFM, DFT, and DFA best practices.• Managed requirements, backlog, schedule, risk and opportunities across Agile and Waterfall teams.• Achieved a robust talent funnel by partnering with recruiting to establish internships and participate in recruiting events with VC investors Andreessen Horowitz and Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers.

• Led a 30 person team of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering (Embedded Linux / Android / Middleware), and Quality Assurance spanning U.S., Canada, Europe, Africa, and India.• Instilled Agile principles applying Scrum and Kanban, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration to reduce development time, increase quality, and improve customer collaboration.• Engaged customers in product demonstrations; Blu­-ray middleware for IVI on a Freescale i.MX 6 platform at GENIVI Alliance Showcase and Avia Media Player with Google Chromecast at CES.• Collaborated with Finance and Program Management to ensure optimum assignment of employees and variable contractors to meet or exceed business unit P&L budget and project schedule.• Maintained a robust talent funnel by establishing and funding internships, capstone projects, and hackathons with regional universities.

• Led a 12 person team of Hardware and Mechanical Engineers, PCB Designers, and Technicians in development of LCD Touchscreens, Blu­-ray/DVD Players, Media and Moving­ Map Servers, Passenger Control Units, and H.264/MPEG­2 Encoders and Decoders.• Developed team expertise in design and qualification for airborne electronics per AS9100, FAA, RTCA DO-160 / DO-254, Boeing, and Airbus standards as a key corporate value proposition.• Engaged a network of third-party EMI and HALT/HASS facilities and then developed a business case for in-house capability requiring $500K capitalization while realizing ROI within 36 months.

• Led Product Development through full lifecycle: initial specification, hardware architecture, schematic, PCB layout, FPGA/EPLD synthesis, testing, compliance, manufacturing, and support. • Developed streaming IFE products taking advantage of the existing IP network in order to improve passenger experience and realize a weight/fuel savings for aircraft operators. • Provided on-site support for integration of IFE line-replaceable units into Business Aviation and VIP aircraft at OEMs, completion centers, and customer locations in North America and Europe.• Developed Blu-ray, DVD, and Codec manufacturing kits for Broadcom and Cirrus Logic.

• Founding member of an 8 person startup that developed DVD and DVR reference designs enabling semiconductor partners LSI Logic and C-Cube to enter PC and Set-top Box markets.

• Developed the first PC based DVD decoder PCI card solution for Diamond Multimedia.
