Performed routine receptionist duties for the Legislative Council. Work involved placing,answering, transferring, and logging calls, monitoring a voicemail messagingsystem, receiving visitors, providing general information, tracking locations of keypersonnel, and updating a staff time-off calendar. Assisted with scheduling ofconference and training rooms. Worked under general supervision with moderatelatitude for initiative and independent judgment.

-Assist parents in signing in children, keep track of children in facility (including how many kids and where), direct children to specific play area.-Direct members through the building and sign people in for the records along with answering any questions someone might have about the facility.-Watch, play and direct member’s children.-Communicate with children’s parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues and maintain a safe play environment.
