The Developer Experience (DevEx) Department builds tools, services, and processes to ensure all engineers can develop, test, and deploy high-quality software productively, reliability, safely and at scale. The goal of the team is to improve all engineers' quality-of-life and reduce cognitive load of engineers so they can devote the majority of their attention to delivering business value. Team manages an Internal Developer Portal (IDP), powered by Spotify Backstage, which hosts multiple different external team-built services as well as microservices other teams have built and manage. The platform allows for seamless addition of micro-front and backend services written in any language. A few services within the IDP managed by the team are an ephemeral on-demand test environment service, internal documentation service for KnowBe4 Engineering, metrics gathering service, and AI powered slack bot. Other responsibilities of the team are ownership and management of Engineering's GitLab instance, as well as being SMEs for CI/CD best practices and all release engineering. KnowBe4 is an AWS first shop, and all infrastructure is managed via code, specifically Terraform. Another responsibility of the DevEx team is to maintain Terraform Modules to encapsulate common infrastructure patterns. All DevEx projects follow a serverless approach, heavily utilizing lambdas, API GW, DynamoDB, SQS, Step Functions & EventBridge.

Team lead for the Hunt-Investigate team. The team is responsible for the Hunting (proactive analysis) and Investigating (reactive analysis) capabilities of the GreyMatter platform. Manage working seamlessly with multiple teams in the Tampa HQ location as well as around the world to produce rapid and innovative results. Design, architect, and implement many cyber security enablement products and services including but not limited to RQ-GreyMatter, RQ-Vision, and RQ-Translate. Responsibilities involve front and back end development using mostly React/Redux JS, Python, and C# in Linux environments. Large role in designing and creating reusable front end framework in React JS which is used by all of our apps. Heavy emphasis on unit and integration testing. Non-technical job duties include regular product updates to our product management team, mentoring others, code reviews, estimates, research and design, interviews, and education. Our team operates using an agile methodology involving all agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, grooming, planning, demo, retrospective) throughout a 2 week sprint.

Was one of the first developers to work on rewriting the front end from older .NET screens to a React/Redux framework. Also contributed to other front end features using Java GWT.
