I am working in MahindraSatyam as a Software Engineer for the last 2.4years. I am working for Auto & Chemicals domain in Oracle platform.

This project is developed for Electro Motive Diesel, USA. The CESD (Control and Electrical Systems Design) department engineers currently design and build several control systems that support all the major control functions aboard the locomotive, as well as display and diagnostic functions. The CESD department of EMD intends to upgrade and combine its existing Access databases to provide significant improvements in capability and efficiency. The goal of the redesign shall be to make the databases: more efficient, user-friendly, ACID,compliant, reliable, secure, scalable, adaptable, and maintainable. Responsibilities:Gathering the requirements and documenting the same.Involved in creating High level design, Detailed Design Documents. Analysis of the specifications provided by the client.Redesigning the existing MS Access Database effectively and ensure it follows all the normalization rules.Writing Stored Procedures for supporting the front end application.Worked on Auto Coding module which has stored procedures to generate C and C++ files which are used as an input for the next stages.Testing the application to ensure proper functionality.

The idea of smart trolley is to develop a trolley which will make shopping convenient and simple. The basic idea is to make an ordinary shopping trolley capable of identifying the objects residing in it. The trolley consists of LCD touch screen, RFID reader and card readers. 1. Product tracking can be done with minimum effort which increases the sales and reduces the shopping time.2. Make the trolley identify location of product and shelves on a shop floor.3. Provide an easy Access path to product in form of a map.4. Check the user's movement on shopping floor and target them with right kind of product promotion and offers.5. This enables user to do smart billing, which reduces the complexities of waiting long in a queue and also provides multi mode of payment.Responsibilities:Understanding the layout and functionalities.Creation of Database Documents like DB Design Documents and DB Design Layouts.Creation of DB scripts and deploying the same into the local server for better user.Testing the use cases and fixing the errors during the integration.

Manufacturing program provides methodologies employed for eco-friendly production, consumption and safe destruction of products so as to benefit the environment and society and also safeguard precious natural resources against abuse. Satyam is working with a group of environmentalists, hydrologists and botanists for innovative solutions in green manufacturing.The program uses precision oriented metrics systems for monitoring and solutions for recycling, reusability and restoration. Green Manufacturing provides innovative solutions for reducing the company's carbon foot print. Satyam is developing an environment management system, called Eco-Cube (ECO) 3 that is used for systematic parametric study and evaluation. (ECO) 3 builds the company's carbon foot print based on metrics obtained from the company's immediate and distant eco-system. This can be adapted to any industry or production unit. The Eco-cube works on a multi-dimensional model and simultaneously compares metrics from different perspectives for each stakeholder such as the company, resources and community. The system then suggests production / manufacturing lifestyle changes to reduce the harmful effects and creates a comprehensive blue-print for the future to undertake programs that will increase the eco-friendly quotient of the company.

This project is all about record keeping of Aerospace and Aeronautical Centre for Excellence {AACE}. The features include attendance maintenance, task maintenance, sending greetings and schedules, associate maintenance, AACE inventory, project maintenance consisting of weekly status report filling and generation. The main idea for developing such an application is to provide an easy way to track the status of the AACE i.e., all associates' performances and projects' status are monitored and updated frequently. These details are viewable to everyone.
