Brent is the founder and Managing Director of BW&A National.With over 40 years experience in the building industry, Brent has extensive knowledge across all areas of the private and public sectors.Prior to establishing BW&A National in 1994, Brent began his career as an Apprentice Carpenter in 1976 and then moved into the Building Inspection field, before becoming qualified as a Building Surveyor/Certifier. Complimentary to his qualifications as a Building Surveyor, Brent also holds a qualification in Rural and Regional Planning.Adding to his breadth of knowledge, Brent has served as a Board Member of the Building Appeals Board of Victoria since 2013. He also retains a Domestic Builders Licence, giving him the practical knowledge of the building industry and appreciation of it’s on-site demands.Named Victorian Building Surveyor of the Year in 2007, Brent is a well respected industry leader. He understands the needs of his clients, is passionate about continual learning and is an advocate for driving the industry forward as building methods change.
