Executive P/L leadership gained in a global Fortune 100 company focused on growth, operational excellence and organizational efficiency.BIO:In July 2019 I was appointed Vice President in Honeywell Aerospace’s Defense & Space Business Unit responsible for strategic and tactical P/L performance of a $1.8B global business segment. Key responsibilities include operational excellence, development, organic and inorganic growth, and expanding Honeywell’s footprint on franchise programs. I lead a global cross-functional team of 2,200+ from engineering, finance, contracts and legal, sourcing and procurement, quality, HR, BD, program management and strategic account management through a direct organization of 120+. My experience is with a diverse global customer base and a variety of Defense, Space and Restricted platforms from sub-sea to deep Space.Previously I was Senior Director of Commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Solutions, a corporate start-up, for Honeywell Aerospace. In this role, I oversaw all aspects of this global business segment and grew and led a team from 5 to 60+ involved in UAV and UAM systems and solutions, including sensing, perception, automation, autonomy, cloud computing, advanced AI and ML analytics and full stack development offerings for various customers in Construction, Utilities, Energy, Oil and Gas, and Aerospace, among others.Prior to this I was Senior Director of Boeing Global Strike and Bomber Aircraft programs for Honeywell’s Defense & Space business unit. In this role, I oversaw all aspects of this $190M+ segment involved in U.S. and international ally national security for the F-15, F-18, F-22, B-52, B-1, T-38, T-X, and many other defense platforms, including restricted advanced aircraft platforms. I was previously responsible for Business Development where I led domestic and international pursuits for multi-site, multi-product strategic captures for avionics, guidance, navigation and control applications for military, space, and commercial segments. I have served as a Technical Director for integrated navigation systems for GPS, MEMS and Ring Laser Gyro technologies. Prior to my tenure at Honeywell, I held engineering positions for optical and electronic design for laser and vision sensors. I’ve served on the Board of Directors for Air Space MN. I hold a Master’s degree in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and the Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with Optical Physics from Saint Cloud State University.
