Abex NWL Aerospace was headquartered in Kalamazoo Michigan. The Servovalve and Electro-mechanical actuator assembly product groups were located in Dublin Georgia. I was transferred from Kalamazoo to Dublin to build the Electro-mechanical missile systems product line. Significant accomplishments include:- Structured a $10m manufacturing operation to produce electro-mechanical missile control actuation assemblies. Significant accomplishments included:- Closed a $20m Electro-Hydraulic Servovale assembly and test facility in Hong Kong China and mover the operation to Dublin Georgia, on time and under budget. Customer and supplier relationships were maintained during this transition.
Abex Aerospace was located in Oxnard California and I was responsible for general accounting and special projects for this supplier of Aircraft Electro-Hydraulic Servovalves and Hydraulic Pumps. Significant accomplishments include:- Managed the assets and resulting asset relocation of a $200m hydraulic products manufacturing operation during multiple plant closures and product line mergers.- Led a bar code labor collection and shop floor control system selection and implementation team for a 500 man, $150m manufacturing operation. This project was completed on time and under budget.
