First Level Support Analyst

Directly enable the effective command and control of more than 29,000 Soldiers spanning 51 European countries and the Middle East. Manages and coordinates all daily operations and serves as the primary source of Commanding General's Communications Team related updates to 5th Signal Command , Wiesbaden Germany. Administrator and coordinator for all department of the Army training requirements for 12 personnel. This requirement also includes weapons, annual and special training, physical fitness training and testing. Function as the primary liaison for all personnel including financial, logistical and personal.

Served as the Network Operations NCOIC in the largest operational base Signal Battalion in Europe. Managed and Maintained 24/7 sustaining base information and network services to the United States Army Europe Commander, and all subordinate commands. Facilitated major Department of Defense, US and Foreign Government. Developed policies and provided technical guidance as the communications supervisor on the employment of classified and unclassified access points supporting the US Army Europe Contingency Command Post missions. Developed the training and professional growth of twelve Soldiers.

Provided computer and information security senior staff guidance and support in a multinational unit consisting of 23 nations supporting one of NATO's two deployable Joint Support Elements. Identified and trained Terminal Area Security Officers and Special Security Officers. Classified media courier. Maintained and enforced through training and inspections on information security policy. Trained information management working groups consisting of three elements with over 18 Field Grade Officers to implement and identify Computer Information System requirements. Conducted Computer Information Systems network accreditations supporting 32 data servers and over 655 workstations. Provided leadership, supervision and counseling to 26 Field Grade Officers, 14 Noncommissioned Officers and two Soldiers.

Served as a Brigade Information Systems Section Supervisor during redeployment from Iraq to the United States. Provided classified and unclassified communications support for over 4000 Soldiers. Provided the integrity and availability of automation systems, network security scans, IAVA reporting and updates. Responsible for six personnel. Served as the Brigade System Administrator, Information Management Officer and the Environmental Control Officer.

Served as Information Systems Operator/Analyst in a separate Signal Company within a deployable Brigade Combat Team while in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Supervised the installation, operation and maintenance of a mobil network operations center, a KU and a KA band satellite system worth over four million dollars. Provided integrated transmission and switching of voice, data and video with commercial technology in a tactical environment. Leads, trains and mentors six personnel.

Prepare and process official military and civilian correspondence for signature on behalf of the United States Army Europe Commanding General. Process awards for major European commands to Department of the Army. Communication and correspondence with Department of the Army leaders and foreign dignitaries at the four star general officer level. Conduct data integrity and review of all correspondence over multiple medial channels. Served as classified document and equipment custodian. Produce calendars and event schedules for the commanding general. Maintained various administrative databases requiring routing to multiple signature authorities up to Department of the Army level. Coordinate protocol functions, receives and greets Congressional Delegate visits to include senior military and foreign dignitary visits.

Supervise the administration functions of the 1st Personnel Command Europe, Officer Personnel Management Directorate. Assists with the oversight of assignment management and professional development of over 5,000 officers and warrant officers in United States Army Europe. Process all officer actions and provides administrative support to the Chief, Officer Assignment Division and seven assignment officers. Manage a central database for all actions and update daily to ensure accurate real time data is available to the staff. Maintains and supervises file maintenance, prioritizes organizes and assigns work throughout the actions division. Directly coordinate with Department of the Army branch managers. Serve as the Headquarters, 1st Personnel Command Officer and Enlisted evaluation supervisor. Requires timely and accurate processing of evaluations throughout the Headquarters and its four battalions including three separate companies. Process personnel actions, leave requests, reassignment orders and similar functions. Total Army Personnel Database updates through automations from command to Department of the Army. Functions as the personnel representative for the command by carrying out command inspections throughout Europe to ensure Department of the Army policies and procedures are being adhered to.
