Researcher with 20 years of professional experience. My research covers various topics relevant to water and food governance and sustainability transitions. It also benefits from an international reach through geographical settings ranging from Europe to Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Two main principles drive my work. One is collaborative and transdisciplinary research to explore complex problems and find joint and sustainable solutions. Two, is impact-oriented research in and beyond academia to enhance the social and policy relevance of science. In addition to my work as a researcher, I am also an independent consultant and benefit from a wide experience working with different regional and international organizations. Much of this work is geared towards making accessible scientific knowledge to all relevant stakeholders, including the policy-makers to support informed decision-making. .
