 Problem solve and brainstorm with employees and customers to ensure the highest level of patient care and customer satisfaction while maximizing profit. Schedule Technologists, PCs, units, and logistics across 5 states (TX, LA, TN, MS, AR), in a very fast paced environment while keeping communication between customers and staff at a maximum. Work closely with my employees/customers to understand their specific needs for medical and office supplies. All while utilizing smart shopping and consistently keeping up with digital trends and technological advances with new materials, computing power, to implement quality of life fixes. Work closely with Director of Radiology, Radiologists, IT, and PACS Admin to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot network/router communications between medical imaging equipment and PACS, RIS, and MIM software. Other skills entail creating documents using Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, and Word to prepare reports and analyze data. I’ve worked closely with Directors of Radiology, Radiologists, and other Lead Technologists within the company to implement 3D imaging across all of our PET/CT units. This reduces radiation dose to patients and employees while improving sensitivity and specificity of our scans. Keeping necessary site information, postings, quality control procedures including ACR, CoR, 2D&3DWCC, quarterly physics, and documentation according to State, NRC, ACR, and JCAHO standards. Setting up and assisting in ongoing ACR and JCAHO accreditation. Training new Technologist and Patient Coordinators using Alliance’s evolving training methods and documentation. I also help to utilize training sheets and get a plan in place to improve patient satisfaction in areas that could use some help. I’m also working on continuing education plans for our seasoned veteran technologists and patient coordinators to make sure all TMs stay up to date.
