Brendan McEntee uses market forces, cross-sector innovation, and the power of collaboration to change the world. Currently an Incubation Lead with MITRE, Brendan’s role is to identify and rapidly scale new offerings by leveraging unique IP and expertise to make a generational impact. Brendan’s diverse career includes leadership experience spanning social entrepreneurship, stakeholder engagement, strategic communication, issue advocacy, performance measurement, and medical and scientific publishing. He has spent his career forging strong partnerships among non-profit organizations, private sector enterprises, and government entities to transform health care for millions of American residents and to reduce disparities in health, economic and societal opportunity through systems change.Previously, at The Pew Charitable Trusts, Brendan co-directed a 21-person health policy and peer learning initiative to increase consumer access to evidence-based addiction care, and as a Director with the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Brendan led Board directed efforts to improve the quality of addiction treatment, including launching an award-winning cloud-based clinical decision software solution and a care delivery certification program. Before ASAM, Brendan worked at Smart Growth America as a Federal Policy Fellow. He graduated from Wesleyan University with Honors and a degree in the College of Letters.
