Teach fundamentals of Marine Corps Marksmanship. This includes weapons handling, maintenance, safety and range procedures. Upon completion of indoor training, conduct practical application exercises. Ensure Marines are handling their weapon safely and applying fundamentals. There may be a need to utilize the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer to correctly assess fundamentals.During the live fire range, ensure safety and proper weapons handling. Assess the shooter and make adjustments to increase accuracy. Also ensure range procedures are followed. As lead instructor or range personel extra duties are included. Insure training aids are up to date. Give junior instructors advice to improve teaching techniques. While on the range give safety briefings. Give commands to all Marines while ensuring range personnel are conducting line and safety procedures.

Order and recieve supplies and equipment while maintaining accurate records accountability. As well as redistribution of those assets to needed sections or units. Conduct cross training in all supply sections for junior Marines. Provide leadership and guidence for all junior Marines regardless of operational specialty.
