Re-Vision, a leading provider in innovative self-scanning solutions, aims to enhance the shopping experience and meet customer expectations for retailers of all sizes and markets.In my current role at Re-Vision (Extenda Retail), I lead the development and implementation of self-scan and loss prevention solutions for some of the largest retailers in the world. I lead an Agile Release Train and am responsible for the transition from legacy software to cloud native solutions. My focus is on developing innovative products, such as machine learning and computer vision applications for loss detection and store optimization. On a daily basis, I work closely with internal teams, vendors, integrators and customers worldwide to ensure that our product vision and strategy are consistently and successfully

At DataBase Fulfilment, I developed and implemented mobile communication channels and loyalty systems, including the successful PasNL platform. I was responsible for product strategy, team leadership, and outsourcing, employing an Agile approach. My role involved leading innovation projects such as the digitalization of paper processes, the development of web-based solutions, and smartphone applications.Key Responsibilities:Spearheaded the creation and deployment of mobile communication channels and loyalty systems.Directed product strategy and managed cross-functional teams.Oversaw outsourcing activities to ensure efficient project execution.Led digital transformation initiatives, including the digitization of paper workflows and the development of innovative web and mobile applications.Managed complex ICT projects, improving collaboration and efficiency within teams and operational departments.By focusing on these areas, I was able to drive significant improvements and innovations that enhanced our service offerings and operational efficiency.

As a key member of this start-up, I led the development and implementation of the engineering tool "Typical Manager," which enables organizations to standardize, manage, and automatically generate electrical control schematics. Westhaven Software Nederland BV, originally a recruitment and selection agency, focused on developing and marketing a software package (Recruit) to support the recruitment process. Initially hired as a consultant to bring the over-budget and delayed Recruit project back on track, I provided strategic advice and helped secure an investor by presenting the project's future strategy and development methodology. In January 2001, I transitioned to the role of Manager Software Development.Key Responsibilities:Oversaw the entire software development lifecycle, implementing an Agile approach.Led a team of seven developers and served as a member of the management team.Managed technical communications with job boards and other external partners.Provided commercial support, delivering presentations and training sessions on the Recruit product.Drove the successful realization and launch of the Recruit software package.Through strategic leadership and an Agile methodology, I ensured the successful development and market introduction of Recruit, significantly enhancing the company's capabilities and product offerings.
