The responsibilities of this position were to directly manage and lead a team of business intelligence and system integration developers. The team developed and maintained the business intelligence systems for 250 individual customers using SQL Server 2008, SQL Server Integration Services, Hyperion and BizTalk. I acted as technical expert on all aspects of the database during development and after deployment. Additional responsibilities included contributing to design/software peer reviews and documenting software and database designs as required.

Additional responsibilities of this full-time position included the development of a real-time data warehouse using SQL Server Integration Services.

This role involved the development of a policy rating and management system, as well as the design of the document storage and retrieval system to manage all of the policies and process for the personal lines insurance programs. The job function included architecting a middle tier policy storage and retention system consisting of multiple Web Services using C# and designing a real-time database system that uses SQL Server 2005 to store data as Serialized XML objects and retrieve the objects using XQuery with SQL Server.

This position involved the development of a real-time transactional database that supported operational and business decisions for Telephony. The responsibilities included designing a real-time database system using SQL Server and Microsoft Analysis Services. This system monitored the technical infrastructure and supported business analysis. The focus of this position was extracting, transforming and loading data from Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems and integrating the data with additional operational data to produce a complete business picture from the customer perspective.
