*** Graduate Research Assistant ***( Five journal papers and three conference papers were published )- I developed a steady/unsteady Sonic Boom flow solver to capture the propagation of Sonic BOOM due to supersonic flight over the ground for large scale domains.- Parallelization of the Solver using Message Passing Interface ( MPI )- Coupled the Solver with gradient-based optimization and non-gradient based algorithms such as particle swarm and vibrational genetic algorithms.- Simulation of Active Flow Control with suction/blowing utilizing individual jet actuator in transonic regimes. - Weakening the shock waves in transonic regimes using flow control devices such as two- dimensional contour bump, individual jet actuator, and also the hybrid control which includes both control devices together, and thereby to gain the desired improvements in aerodynamic performance of air vehicle.- Combined optimization of shape and flow control parameters on an air vehicle via vibrational genetic algorithm.- Active suppression of Sonic Boom by utilizing off-body energy addition in computational domain
