This position is responsible for the Physical Plant Operations facilities in the State Operated Services Support Division. This will include developing and implementing a comprehensive Facilities Management Program to maintain, repair, replace, renovate, remodel and improve the buildings and campus infrastructures of the State Operated Services Support Division (SOS) and community based SOS service delivery system. Principle areas of responsibility include short and long range planning, and take a leading role in obtaining community based sites to comply with Legislative and DHS’s plan for SOS clients in community settings. Development of annual operational budget for facilities, development of capital repairs/replacements budgets, project oversight and coordination, development and implementation of a preventive maintenance program, space utilization, hazardous waste management, energy management, and handicapped accessibility. The position is responsible for the administration of support services necessary to facility management including, data collection and analysis, budgeting and accounting program/project resources, and monitoring architectural/consulting services.
