When I was 10 years old, I desperately wanted a new iPod Touch. I begged my dad, and he cut me a deal: I had to pitch myself to the local newspaper in my hometown and he would pay me $10 per story I got published with them. That summer, I got 3 things: my own column in the local newspaper, a new iPod Touch and a newly discovered sense of passion and ambition.While back in 2010 I was motivated by a shiny new iPod, today my spirit and motivation come in the form of making something and seeing it succeed. I’ve found this in my early career work with Corey Paige Designs. This time with CPD opened doors and opportunities I could’ve never imagined, such as experience in social media marketing, digital advertising, and e-commerce management to name a few. I’ve continued to follow this passion of creating by focusing on fostering relationships in the fashion industry, specifically personal styling by starting my career at the luxury institution that is Bergdorf Goodman. Between my roles at Tibi and Tanya Taylor I've learned while I enjoy the retail environment, I truly am motivated by brand styling. And no, not styling their e-commerce shoots but rather styling their identity, who they appeal to, what tools they use to create a community, etc. Working for No Standing NYC has allowed me to understand why I am uncomfortable being pigeonholed professionally – I enjoy all of the parts of brands that make them work and that is what I have the privilege of doing for them. I think they call that "brand operations" in the real world. :)I strive for maximum engagement, creativity, and quality of work. I’m ready to get my hands dirty at all times, and I am eager to dedicate as much time as needed to every project I have the privilege of working on. I graduated Binghamton University in fall of 2021 with my degree in English literature and graphic design, which I utilize with freelancing in my free time.
