After earning my Training Store Manager certification in April of 2021. I successfully trained two ASMs to take over the role of SMs in their own independent stores.Under the pillar of captainship, fresh has seen marked improvements though in-stocks and sales increases. Additionally, customer satisfaction has seen increasingly higher scores through my methods of associate training and process of driving initiative.

The Store Manager is responsible for setting goals in order to uphold brand standards, reach max sales goals, and lead employees in maintaining a successful store in a fast-paced retail environment. The SM is required to open and/or close the store, prepare daily deposits, stock merchandise, set the seasonal department, end caps, and planograms to code, unload the DC truck, check in DSD vendors and verify paperwork.The SM also takes on the role of Human Resources. Lastly, the SM position was also responsible for the recruitment, training, development, coaching and termination of associates. Company is now defunct.

This included: following up on the execution of planograms, completing notes, receiving shipments, schedule editing, ordering merchandise and customer service.
