Coastal Resilience Program Analyst Ii
Current• Track, plan, and coordinate strategic collaborations between National Ocean Service (NOS) program activities and broader NOAA, and Interagency efforts and priorities.• Plan and facilitate events (meetings, workshops, and conferences), including: identifying outcomes of presentations or sessions, framing the sessions, designing facilitation or engagement techniques, identifying and recruiting speakers, and producing the necessary materials for participants and leadership to be fully prepared to participate• Assist with the creation of work products, including: Agency, Interagency, and White House reports; internal communications documents; design of visuals; and creation of executive presentations and talking points• Participate in weekly workgroup coordination meetings with the Senior Advisor and key staff from NOS headquarters to communicate and plan for upcoming meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, deliverables, etc.• Prepare materials and support briefings for senior leadership on various topics such as interagency workgroups and bilateral agency collaborations.• Facilitate the design, implementation, and evaluation of the strategy for Coastal Resilience Interagency Working Groups• Support the development of products, tools, and technical assistance related to risk and resilience by collecting user requirements, conducting gap analyses, and coordinating agency review and clearance• Support the development of input to work products for crossagency boards and Teams.• Support interorganizational endeavors by helping plan leadership participation in annual meetings and events: Subcommittee on Global Change Research, Interagency Council on Advancing Meteorological Services, Subcommittee on Resilience Science and Technology, etc.• Contribute to congressional reports, Technical Drafting Assistance (TDA) requests, content for NOAA leadership congressional testimony, and congressional briefing materials as relevant.
