This work led to the design and synthesis of 5 novel compounds that are being evaluated as a potential treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.• Utilized product knowledge to oversee the acquisition of over $100,000 in instrumentation for chemical and biological research.• Knowledgeable about current literature in organic and medicinal chemistry as evidence by serving as a reviewer for over 7 peer-reviewed journals. -
