Burnside Eurocyl is a Hydraulic Cylinder manufacturer for original equipment manufacturers in Europe, North America & Asia.My role as Project Engineer involved being responsible for the research and development of new designs including the building of testing units. Also responsible for analysis after testing and reporting of results in collaboration with the quality assurance department. Testing has been completed for a large number of projects including specific customer requested testing and general reliability testing. Responsible for customising and implementing of MAKETRACK ERP & MRP system within Burnside Eurocyl's Manufacturing Facility in collaboration with Entellexi Ltd. Current lean projects are based on reliable data being received from this system.Also developed and maintained ISO 14001 (Environmental) accreditation from standing start all the way through to certification for Burnside Eurocyl's manufacturing plant. Accreditation awarded by TUV Rheinland on 11/09/2013.

Project engineer responsible for various duties including progress reporting, pipework preservation monitoring and setup, contractual documentation and material procurement.Liaised with client technical advisers in order to close out technical queries.Carried out snag-list monitoring and inspection duties including contractor coordination.Compiled turnover packages for system quality handovers.

Involved in various stages of project Pricing, Planning,Estimating and Documentation for a number of projects inplanning stages in the UK and the Middle East.Conducted price comparisons and calculations for a range of services including plant and accommodation provision and health and safety equipment.Conducted studies of E.U law and wrote reports in order tomake obligations towards environmental policy and employment clear.Involved in planning and documentation of an outage atHuntstown Power Station 747 MW CCGT facility.

As part of Enterprise Ireland's first Graduates for International Growth Programme I was placed with Shanahan Engineering while training to a post-grad diploma level in International Business Development.
