For Arcserve Southern Africa I look after the Channel, and Sales for SA and Africa, ensuring that our partners and clients are equipped and enabled, while using a world class Backup and DR solution. Arcserve offers a range of solutions to meet varying Backup and DR requirements to any organisation-big or small. We have offerings in both Software and Appliance guise, so our clients get the choice on how they want to consume our solutions.

CA’s solution offering, for the modern enterprise equips businesses with solutions that automate, and drive digital transformation, while eliminating complexity.Within this role, I fulfilled hunting for new business, with a focus on Project Portfolio Management, Service Management, and then Mobility Suite. I also managed existing accounts in a variety of industries, with the view to expand and broaden the footprint.

The ongoing role of budgeting and forecasting for most organisations is cumbersome, manual and frustrating. Within this role I offered organisations the ability to reduce the complexity and have an auditable, iterative and controlled- process driven approach to planning, budgeting and forecasting. CQS Performance Solutions now part of Decision Inc offered SAP BPC solutions to the market to address these complexities. I was tasked with hunting for new business and developing relationships with the vendor SAP.

With this role I wore multiple hats, from starting on the sales floor, to hunting for new business opportunities out on the road. I offered, at the time accounting solutions for the SMB market that formed part of the Softline Pastel, and now Sage Pastel portfolio.
