Manage team of 5 Systems Administrators responsible for Operations and Maintenance on specific VA Contract. Responsible for maintaining SAN/Server/Network/Backup infrastructure. Recommend software/hardware improvements to enhance environment management. Implement recommended solutions, Veeam, Logrythm, and Nagios XI. Created highly customized monitoring and centralized logging with Logrythm and Nagios XI for use with CA Identity Minder, Siteminder, and HID CMS software along with custom java code implemented by previous contractor.Personally responsible for creating a Microsoft Sharepoint site to manage and organize tasks and incidents, house documentation, and bridge the communication gap between contractors and government. Automated these tasks using custom Sharepoint Designer workflows.Assist in writing proposals for optional tasks within the contracts scope.
