Worked on a variety of geotechnical and environmental engineering projects in western Canada including:- Quality assurance and construction supervision for the remediation of the abandoned Gunnar Uranium Mine in Northern Saskatchewan.- Remediation of elemental sulphur impacted soil.- Preliminary trade off study and costing for the remediation of Zinc impacted soil at a mine site.- Preliminary design and costing of a landfill for the disposal of inert waste as part of a closure and decommissioning plan for a mine. - Peer review of a contaminated soil investigation report for an abandoned mine. - Geotechnical foundation investigation at a coal mine in the Elk Valley. Performed the soil logging, documentation and sample collection for holes drilled with an ODEX rig.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) - I performed deozens of the Phase I ESAs in accordance with CSA Z768 Standards at various industrial commercial and residential properties throughout Phase II ESAs - I performed Phase II ESAs at various sites in Saskatchewan to determine the if the sits have been adversely impacted by compounds such as: metals, petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAHs). The scope of work I performed included: cost estimating, project coordination, drilling, sampling, data analysis and report preparation.Management of remediation activities - I performed remediations at various site throughout Saskatchewan for PHC, PAHs and metals impacted soils. Tasks included: cost estimating, preparation of Corrective Action Plans for submission to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, contractor tendering, waste characterisation, project coordination, documentation and direction of remediation activities, soil and groundwater sampling, data analysis, and report preparation. Hydrogeological investigations for proposed rural residential and commercial subdivisions. For these investigations I performed: cost estimates, proposal preparation, preparation of drilling plans, groundwater collection, conducting in-situ hydraulic conductivity tests (slug tests), data analysis and interpretation, and report preparation.Site Characterizations for Earthen Manure Storage cells - Investigations typically included: cost estimates, proposal preparation, preparation of drilling plans, groundwater collection, conducting in-situ hydraulic conductivity tests (slug tests), data analysis and interpretation, and report preparation.Member of the Occupational Health Committee since 2014.
