The project was managed using standard PMBOK methodology and involved the effective management of internal and external resources. I was responsible for project managing the design construction and commissioning of the Ubinet Fibre Optic Network interconnection. Connecting substations, offices and strategic Ergon locations to various fibre optic backbone networks. I was extremely fortunate to be involved on this project and work such in a focussed and professional work environment.This project was a flow on from a previous engagement in which i was a member of the team that developed the Ergon Energy emergency fibre repair response framework that included, policy, standards and procedure development inclusive of the training of Ergon line personnel in quality, procedural and safety requirements.
