Began work on the Weekday Team as a part-time Customer Service Associate mainly working evenings. Worked evenings because I obtained a full-time day job with the Amarillo Independent School District. I have since moved up to Customer Service Associate II. I work the entire floor doing almost everything an associate is allowed to accomplish. Responsible for assisting customers with all of their shopping needs including assisting customers in the selection, demonstration, preparation and loading of merchandise. Also responsible for responding to customer inquiries throughout their shopping experience including promoting customer loyalty plans and/or extended protection/replacement plans where appropriate. I am no longer working a full-time job. So willing to again work primarily afternoons for:Weekday Team: Requires morning and afternoon availability Monday through Friday during peak day hours.

This is my own business. I do retail advising to assist in the improving customer services. I do contract merchandising as requested by contractors. Also, I will do announced and unannounced audit visits.

As the primary relief driver for the receiving and distribution warehouse I assembled furniture and miscellaneous items for delivery to all 67 locations in the school district. In the morning I retrieved and delivered internal mail for all 4 delivery routes as the fill in driver. In the afternoon worked in a team to deliver the furniture assembled and move various items to all schools.

Hired to train as a management trainee and later became an assistant manager. I completed all computer training by the end of January 2009. Supervised employees, learned the photo processing system, trained as a pharmacy technician. I am proficient in returns, refunds and exchanges. I worked closing and opening and performed computer processing and cash handling. On a daily basis I coordinated with vendors. I used the telxon for inventory control, labels and signs. Unloaded trucks and stocked the shelves. Left Walgreens to further my own business in retail advising which are all aspects of retail.

I was hired as a full time permanent employee working on the remodel to convert a division one Wal-Mart (1535 Sioux Falls) to a super Wal-Mart. Building and installing shelves and moving the individual departments to their new locations. In September, when the store took possession of the food side, I did the work of a department manager in the deli meats--department 97. In January of 2003 my inventory tracking figure was 25.8% and for February the figure was 29.8% (goal is 28%). I transferred to store 1361 (Sioux City) March 2003. Then in November I was assigned to 3590 (Leeds--Sioux City) and worked on the set up of steel and as department manager of departments 4 & 13. In April of 2004 I transferred to (645) Norfolk, Nebraska to train as an assistant manager. After completing the course I became the assistant manager of the meat division there in Norfolk. The division had over 26 personnel assigned to it. . Managed employees in the meat division, grocery, softlines, and inventory -- all aspects of the store. There are four department’s seafood, fresh meat, deli meat wall, and the service deli. During the 17 months that I managed Division 24 the sales increased and averaged around 20% and the gross profit doubled. From September 2004 to February 2005 I also ran the produce division (Div. 25). Division 25 sales during that time increased in the double digits also. From February 2005 to November 2006 I was assigned as one of two night managers. November of 2006 I transferred to (652) Garden City, Kansas and began there with a position as grocery manager, then softlines, fresh -- meat, Area B -- stationary, housewares, domestics, furniture, and crafts and fabrics. An assistant is directly and indirectly responsible and in charge of the entire store staff; consisting of 150 to 450 personnel depending upon the type of store assigned to. I was assigned to a super center which normally averages 450 associates.
