• Worked with collaborating organizations such as the District Education Office, Born Free Foundation, Disney Animal Kingdom to promote environmental conservation in schools and local communities. • Worked with 10 schools and local communities surrounding chimpanzee habitat from Hoima and Ngamba island to determine conservation needs, plan conservation projects, and give technical assistance in implementing and evaluating to ensure sustainability and success. • Offered technical support to school conservation clubs in initiating and developing conservation projects. • Worked with the Chimpanzee trust Directors to develop, coordinate evaluation programs such as classroom observations, student evaluations, and local community visits. • Actively encouraged interest in wildlife through positive interaction with Sanctuary guests through educational presentations focused on Animal biology, conservation, and environmental issues. • Provided Environmental training sessions to teachers and local community members each year to support and scale conservation education and sustainable living in communities living around forest habitat.
