Worked with a team of engineers to provide models and simulations to support work completed on Naval Capabilities Development Program (NCDP) Assessments. Developed various views (Operational/Systems) from the Department of Defense (DoD) Architecture Framework (DoDAF). Researched all aspects of various platforms and sensors, as well as the basics of aerospace engineering, to determine the operating procedures to input into the model. Developed joint theater-level warfare models using Satellite Tool Kit (STK) in order to assess sensor capabilities of current/future systems. Developed automation tools in MATLAB to better leverage tools in SPAWAR’s modeling and simulation efforts. Analyzed and configured data/results into presentations to be briefed before the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) and other officers.

Perform and test performance and operational analysis of LSI Logic’s IDE, SCSI, and Serial ATA RAID storage adapters using various operating systems. Reproduced sustaining issues from customers in a laboratory environment to insure quality assurance of products. Edit and develop test plans using an ISO standard for the purpose of testing functionality of various LSI Logic RAID adapters. Consulted with developers on problems with firmware, BIOS, or operational issues.

Tested various IDE RAID adapters for future use in Dell PowerEdge Servers using multiple OS platforms. Performed performance test and analysis of Serial ATA RAID cards as well as analysis of RAID-5 write performance using profiling tools. Consulted with vendors to determine sustaining problems associated with the cards. Designed and developed a dynamic document management web site using MS SharePoint Portal Server.
