As Creative Director, Renee Simone has merged her two specialties 'activity programmes' and 'entertainment' with her love of Byron Bay to create the perfect entertainment packages for visiting groups. Creating programmes that go beyond participants merely attending an event, a Byron Bay Experience is immersive and FUN.Having been a performer in Byron Bay for the past 15 years, Renee has a longstanding relationship with every type of entertainer thinkable. Add to that a costume and props department creating the ability to style and theme the acts, there are no limitations to what can be created.With her strong inter personal skills, Renee Simone is able to offer a distinctly unique and high quality service. She has a great grasp on the capabilities of her performers and is well experienced in working with corporate clients, brides and event teams. It is this combination which enables her to meet every brief by truly hearing the individual needs and context of each group and creatively directing her entertainers to produce wow factor experiences. She isdescribed as “captivating in manner, voice and message” (Rip it up Magazine) “anintoxicating performer” (The Barefoot Review), “a remarkable voice” (Glam Adelaide) “a voice like tiramisu topped with smooth chocolate sauce.” (Angus Stone), “Reminiscent of an early Sade.” (Eric Bibb).On 14 October 2013 she released her debut solo album, ‘ROAR’. Bernard Fanning stated “I heard ‘ROAR’ and was really impressed by the range and quality of the writing, singing and playing. Miss Renee is able to straddle jazzy soul, folk, pop and reggae and make all of the styles her own. A great singer with a very unique style. If honey had a sound it would be the voice of Miss Renee Simone”.'ROAR' is Miss Renee Simone’s call to arms for women to grant themselves permission to beeverything they want to be. She would like to ignite a passion in women, particularly mothers, torise up and be fabulous now. The project is jam packed with amazing mothers most notibly the photography by Donatella Parisini, the stylist Mia Brennan and the film makers Sinem Saban and Polly Snowden. ‘You Are Beautiful’ the first single from the album is a tribute to mothers and speaks of the workthey do to raise the vibration of the planet one well-loved child at a time. "To be soft and gracefulyet being able to ROAR when it's needed, that to me represents feminine strength," she explains.“Women’s stories have a universal theme the world over and across generations. I drew inspirationfrom the hundreds of women who shared their stories of empowerment and disempowerment withme over a period of 12 months as I wrote the album. Women who have faced extreme adversityand risen to the challenge, women who are still working it out, women who refuse to give up.”

Supporting elderly people particularly those with dementia in activities of daily living and leisure.

Worked with a team to raise funds to send myself and 7 other child therapists to create an educational programme for staff in an orphanage for disabled children. The children (up to 21 yrs old) had only been allowed out of their cots for one hour a day for potty hour. They had never been outdoors in their life. We built a sensory room, assessed all children and wrote a rehab programme for each child. Increased function of every child was seen within 10 days.
